EDUCATION AND CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

Dr. Meirsdorf graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The internship was held at the Israeli Sheba Hospital - Tel Hashomer.

 

Internship in the specialty of diagnostic radiology took place in the X-ray department of the medical center. Soraski in Tel Aviv (Ichilov).

 

From 2007 to 2008, he completed an internship in abdominal imaging and invasive abdominal radiology at Saint Paul Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. Then he worked as a full-time medical specialist in the same hospital in the X-ray department.

 

Upon his return to Israel, he worked as a senior physician in the radiology department of the Medical Center. Soraski in Tel Aviv (Ichilov).

 

Currently, Dr. Meirsdorf is the head of the invasive sonography service at the X-ray department of the Medical Center. Soraski in Tel Aviv (Ichilov).

 

In addition, he provides his services as a specialist radiologist at the A.R.M.

ACADEMIC AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES

  • ​Dopplerography of the neck with a narrow specialization in the thyroid gland, oncological cases before surgery and monitoring after surgery and therapy.
  • Ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis - visualization of the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, urinary tract and kidneys, including Dopplerography.

  • Targeted ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis to detect hernia and indurations.

  • Ultrasound of the testicles, including dopplerography.

  • Fine needle biopsy (FNA) of the thyroid gland.

  • Fine needle (FNA) and thick needle (FNB) biopsy of cervical, pelvic and axillary lymph nodes.

  • Fine-needle (FNA) and thick-needle (FNB) biopsy of seals in the liver and kidneys.

  • Fine needle (FNA) and thick needle (FNB) biopsy of lumps in the abdomen and pelvis, including the greater curvature

  • Core-needle biopsy of soft tissue indurations in the lower extremities, chest, or abdominal wall.

  • Diagnostic or therapeutic puncture of ascites in the abdominal area.
